Norfolk County has received approval from the Rural Connections Broadband Program of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA), for funding to enhance high-speed Internet for residents and businesses.
The project is a cooperative initiative involving Norfolk County, Norfolk Energy, KWIC Internet, the Norfolk District Business Development Corporation and Fanshawe
College. Norfolk County is one of 14 Ontario municipalities moving forward with
plans to build local broadband infrastructure in partnership with the provincial
government.
“What Hi-Speed Internet Has Done For Me” contest is part of Norfolk County’s “Broadband For Norfolk” Small Business and Public Sector Outreach Campaign to raise awareness of the benefits of high speed broadband in today's world and encourage the deployment and adoption throughout the county. Be creative and tell us how hi-speed, both wireless or landline, has had a positive impact on your business, personal life or your family member’s lives.
Three (3) winners will be selected. The winner will receive KWIC Internet broadband gift certificate prizes as follows:
